DEFINITION: v. To be unable to remember the name of a person you are speaking to, even though you've had a long-standing, and perhaps even an intimate relationship. n. An inability to remember a person's name.
DEFINITION: v. To purchase a low-cost product and cover it with the label, or put it inside the packaging of a premium brand. n. A cheap product, which has been repackaged, or relabeled, by the consumer to make it look like an expensive brand.
DEFINITION: To wish for peace on earth, and then do something to help make it happen.
DEFINITION: v., To run out of batteries during the holidays, especially on Christmas morning when all the kids and half the adults are screaming for their new toys. n., A battery or personal energy shortage created by over-consumption.
DEFINITION: v., To show appreciation for a gift, even if it is something that you do not really need or want, by feigning joy. n., A faked display of gratitude.
DEFINITION: v., To receive a gift covered in previously used wrap. n., Recycled gift-wrap, may or may not suit the occasion.
DEFINITION: v., To prepare for holiday events where you must chat with irritating co-workers or nagging relatives, by consuming just enough alcohol to make you feel "relaxed". n., A person who arrives at a party pre-inebriated.
