DEFINITION: v. To ignore anything positive and focus your energy on problems, disasters, and whatever bad news you find. n. A person who searches for, and feeds on, other people's weaknesses, failures and mistakes.
DEFINITION: v. To try to kill a weed that just won't die. n. A weed that just keeps on coming back, no matter what you do to it.
DEFINITION: v. To express your love of nature by covering your lawn with statues, ornaments and other plastic figurines. n. A home which is infested with gnomes, elves, plastic animals, and other lawn ornaments.
DEFINITION: n. The feelings of apprehension which occur when undergoing a medical examination. v. To feel discomfort while a medical professional pokes and prods at the weak points of your body.
DEFINITION: n. An out-of-body, or out-of-brain, experience which occurs when faced with a demanding intellectual challenge. v. To lose your train of thought while trying to demonstrate your intellectual prowess.
DEFINITION: v. To deny that you have stupidly injured yourself for fear of punishment or ridicule. n. A person who won't admit it when they shoot themselves in the foot (which they seem to do quite often).
DEFINITION: v. To go to the store and buy something, but then to forget to bring it home. n. A person who forgets what they bought -- until the credit card bill comes in.
DEFINITION: v. To yell at a store clerk for correctly doing something that is clearly part of their job. n. A shopper who believes, as a "customer", it's their duty to bother, berate and belittle the people who serve them.
