Her apouthetic stance contributed nothing to the world but an elbow worn spot on the table, a permanent scowl on her face, and snickering comments from regular customers who would often purposely tried to engage her in overtly cheery conversation to see how she would react.

Who was supporting these flocks of coffee house beatniks, sitting around scowling at the rest of the world, and sipping expensive café mocha lattes?
