This was because last night, the man of her dreams, Harry Honeydew, had asked her to run away with him and get married. Sure, she was tempted, but at 18, she knew she did not have the courgette to defy her parents and give up her education or her Mellon scholarship. She squashed his romantic overtures and played back in her mind the words she worried she may later come to regret,"No, I cantaloupe with you Harry!"
