DEFINITION: v., To seek out old acquaintances even though you never really knew them that well, or liked them very much, in the first place. n. An old and unwanted friend who has suddenly reappeared.
DEFINITION: n., A semi-conscious state experienced by early morning commuters on a subway, bus or car. v., To mentally transport oneself in the opposite direction of which you are traveling.
DEFINITION: v., to post sticky notes all over the place, including sticky notes to remind you to read the previously posted sticky notes. n., an obsessive compulsive dependency on sticky notes.
DEFINITION: n., A syndrome afflicting the recently separated in which the "ex" (i.e. ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, ex-husband, or even an ex-mother-in-law) appears to be more attractive than ever before. v., To be attracted to your "ex".
DEFINITION: v., To shed one's skin in an effort to appear younger or healthier. n. The little bits peeling skin caused by overexposure to direct sunlight.
DEFINITION: n., Second-hand sound which has escaped from a headset. v., To play music on personal listening device so loudly that it leaks out of the earphones.
DEFINITION: n., A pesky but persistently painful, and seemingly incurable paper cut, which simply refuses to heal. n. To cut or injure a "high use" body part, like a fingertip, knuckle or tongue.
DEFINITION: n., Cautionary advice provided by parents to their children, often makes no logical sense but carries enough emotional weight to affect the child's behavior. v. To warn of danger through the judicious use of exaggeration.
