DEFINITION: n., The deep red lines and/or furrows, which appear on a person's face after they have slept on wrinkled or creased bed sheets. v., To wake up and discover that your face matches your wrinkled bed sheets.
DEFINITION: v., To facilitate camaraderie among your colleagues by making fun at your boss's expense, only to discover that you-know-who is standing right behind you. n., A professional faux pas made with the best intentions.
DEFINITION: n. That sinking feeling you get when you realize that you will be shedding your winter coat, before you can possibly shed the extra layer of insulation (i.e. fat) that you gained over the winter. v. To worry about your weight.
DEFINITION: v., To not feel guilty about all the weight you're putting on, because you need all the extra calories you can get, to survive the harsh winter climate. n., A type of fat gained by mammals in preparation for winter hibernation.
DEFINITION: n., A wear mark, or shiny spot, which appears on a heavily used computer touch-pad, mouse or keyboard. v., To wear down or erode through repetitive clicking, tapping or poking.
DEFINITION: v., To read a person's face and interpret what they are actually thinking, even if they are trying to conceal their true feelings. n., The skill of reading people's faces, especially micro-expressions.
DEFINITION: v., To grasp the meaning of muddled texts like blog posts, emails and text messages where standard grammatical or spelling conventions have been ignored. n., The ability to read and understand confused or poorly written messages.
