Sentence: Sharna's refusal to wear her glasses resulted in her frequently astigmating astounded strangers. This carried over to her online life where small, blurry profile images compounded the problem. Unlike in real life, some of her online astigmates thought it endearing, albeit odd, and eventually 'friended' her in facebook.

I often finish up with a number of verboticisms for the definition- and, to play safe I put them in my sentence. I do like "astigmate" though.
