Pronunciation: dôtərkoōlər

Sentence: Denise strongly encouraged her daughter Cindy to entertain her boyfriend at home. She would give them full use of the family room while she and Jim (Dad) would keep themselves busy in the kitchen. But Mom was a terrific daughtercooler. She would NEED the punch bowl or grill set from a closet at just the right moment to put a nyet blanket on any nefarious activities. Just a cough or clearing of the throat from the other room could send chills down Cindy's spine. On more than one occasion, Cindy searched the family room looking for a hidden video cam. In the end she decided that Mom must be psychic.

Etymology: Daughter (female offspring) cooler (a device or container for keeping things cool)
