Sentence: Being with Eddie was like always being in an inhailstorm. This was because he had to compulsively sniff at each and everything, just to ensure it had not gone off. One could easily testify that the only thing that had ever "gone off" was Eddie himself. Once a gifted wine "nose" and then a gifted perfume "nose", Eddie had smelltered himself to the situation where people only called upon him if their carbon monoxide detectors failed or they suspected a gas leak. Sentence: Horacio often thought he could detect odors on things that no one else could. Objects which most people thought had no odor, he felt most compelled to pick up and smell, just to be sure. Perhaps he was just being overscentsative but he just couldn't stop trying to smell everything he picked up..... Wait, I think that smells pretty good, let me see.

Sentence: Jim had such a sniffixation about freshness that Rita refused to go with him to buy groceries anymore. Anyone who watched him smell, poke, squeeze and taste the fruits and vegetables was too grossed out to buy them when he got done with them.
