Pronunciation: mend ayj us
Sentence: Grandma Gilda had always been a mendageous type of person. Her true age was never known...she'd been twentynining it for as long as we could recall. Although offered senior's discounts at shops, she was indignant that people would think she was really that old. She took care of herself and acted young, but let's be honest, Mother Nature and Father Time exact their toll on us all. And it did not help that she told us stories of the War and the Great Depression. When Gilda turned 75, we had a big party for her in a local licensed restaurant. Her best gift by far was having the waiter card her...unbeknownst to her that we'd paid him twenty bucks to make a fuss of requiring proof of age. She was thrilled!
