Pronunciation: bak heer ee ya

Sentence: The refrigerator was old, the paint chipped and the door handle had long since disintegrated. Upon prising the door open, the light no longer came on, but in the darkness you could hear the backhereia shuffling around and when your eyes became accustomed to the darkness you could make out its vaguely luminescent trail.
