Yep! My daffodils are up about 4 inches - garlic about 6. However, I am so NOT ready for the 50 strawberry plants being delivered today... what the hell was I thinking? - purpleartichokes, 2008-03-31: 14:05:00

I too live in a Garden of Weedin'...Cheers, purple! - Nosila, 2008-03-31: 20:48:00

The payoff for craptimism usually comes on large denominations of crapola. I hope I'm not being overly craptimistic about my herb and veggie gardens. - Mustang, 2008-03-31: 23:10:00

Fleelation

Created by: Nosila

Pronunciation: flee lay shun

Sentence: We all get feelings of fleelation. You know when your bank statement shows money you never knew you had, only to discover that you were accidentaly credited with someone else's deposit, after you spent it, of course. When you wait for the mail and are delighted to get lots of letters. Except, they are just bills and junk mail...no correspondence from friends. You are excited to get a tax refund of $500, only to find out your spouse owes them $2000 and you are going to have to help him out to pay for it. The worst though is when you are a kid and so excited about Santa, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny, only to finally find out it is really your parents. That's fleelation!

Etymology: Flee (run away quickly) & Elation ( a feeling of joy and pride;an exhilarating psychological state of pride and optimism; an absence of depression)

Wonderblah

Created by: Stevenson0

Pronunciation: won/der/blah

Sentence: The child's enthusiasm and delight was immediately snapped by her mother's negative comment. It was a wonderblah moment.

Etymology: wonder + blah

----------------------------
COMMENTS:

Wonderblah could describe my experience shopping for bras online yesterday. Why women want those plastic tubes poking at their ribs all day, I'll never know. And why do men wear little nooses around their necks? Do they secretly want to be hung? Or are buttons actually obscene and need to be hidden? I think that just inspired a definition... - purpleartichokes, 2008-03-31: 18:31:00
