Mortifidoraptus

metrohumanx

Created by: metrohumanx

Pronunciation: MORT-IH-FIE-DOE-RAP-TUSS

Sentence: Flo was a volunteer at the animal shelter and a professional dog walker. Although her new pit bull puppy looked like a naked mole rat, she was fond of showing it off in public. Her friends humored her until she was inexplicably siezed by MORTIFIDORAPTUS and began cooing and speaking in slobbering tongues to the clearly embarrased doglet. Everyone had to look away and stifle snickers. Others just walked away, while some cast aspersions at her descent into irritating anthropomorphism. Imploring her to stop had no effect - the gibberish just intensified into a pungent mishmash of ootsycutesyisms. Flo just tossed her head back indignantly and was last seen heading haughtily towards a hydrant, MORTIFIDORAPPING all the way.

Etymology: MORTIFIED:humiliated + FIDO: legendary generic verbotomistic canine-american of yore + RAPTUS: a state of being carried away by overwhelming emotion = MORTIFIDORAPTUS............... Variations: [ mortifidorapture, mortifidoraptism, mortifidorapmusic, mortifidoraptologist ] yadda yadda yadda

Believe it or not, inspired by verbotomy again. I was thinking that I'd like to wait until the next day to vote, but I don't like the view you get, having to hit More, More, More (how do you like it, how do you like it). Egad, it's back. - purpleartichokes, 2007-06-08: 11:00:00
